In the March edition of the Australian Institute of Credit Management journal appears an article that I co-authored in relation to the Debt Collection Guide that came into affect last year after its introduction by the ACCC and ASIC.
For any business that either collects its own debts or uses a collection agency, being aware of this guide is a must. The article will provide you with a brief overview of the Guide together with some tips on what to do if a debtor of yours becomes insolvent.
