Career history
Adrian is a Director with Brooke Bird, Insolvency Specialists. He specialises in corporate reorganisation and insolvency advice with approaching 20 years experience. Prior to Brooke Bird Adrian worked in the Deloitte Restructuring Services team, PPB Advisory and Ferrier Hodgson.

Adrian has also undertaken two secondments to the insolvency division of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission undertaking solvency reviews of ASX listed entities and other domestic companies.

Skills and expertise
Adrian’s experience encompasses a diverse range of services working with key stakeholders (be they secured lenders, directors, their solicitors and accountants) which typically focus on internal controls, management competency, performance, short to medium term viability and asset divestment.

Adrian has particular expertise in the following areas:
• Business diagnostic reviews / investigations
• Management of businesses in formal insolvency including restructure and cost down programs during the sale of businesses.
• Working capital and cash flow management and associated optimisation strategies
• Business restructuring and profit improvement strategy development
• Identification and implementation of operational and process improvements

In addition to being heavily involved in a variety of corporate reorganisation administrations across many industries, Adrian has developed had particular exposure to:
• Retail
• Hospitality
• Aged Care
• Manufacturing
• Property

Adrian is also well versed in the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 which came into effect from 30 January 2012. Adrian has presented on this legislation to not only internal stakeholders but was a lead trainer on behalf of the Insolvency Practitioners Assoc. of Australia for its national rollout of presentations to its members on this topic.

Professional and academic qualifications
In addition to being an Official and Registered Liquidator, Adrian is a member of the:

• Australian Institute of Credit Management
• Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.

Adrian also holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Monash University.
